Rock 'n Roll Racing is an isometric combat racing game brought to Game Boy Advance. You pick a driver and a vehicle and race laps around banked, obstacle-strewn circuits where opponents can be shot, bombed or simply run off the road. Finishing well earns cash and points that you spend on better tyres, engines, armour, ammunition and eventually new vehicles, which you need in order to survive the later planets and their tougher tracks. Races are viewed from an overhead angle with jumps, oil slicks and pits to negotiate, and a commentator calls the action as cars are destroyed. The soundtrack is built on hard rock guitar arrangements, and a link-up option lets a second player join the racing.
