Snowboard Kids is a snowboarding racing game for the Nintendo 64 with a cartoon art style and a cast of child riders. Races run down themed downhill courses where you carve, jump and grind while trying to hold position against rivals. Rather than a straight sports simulation, it leans on item-based competition: coins picked up on the course are spent at shops, and weapons and gadgets found along the way can be fired at opponents ahead of you or used defensively. Courses include shortcuts, ramps and hazards, and lifts carry riders back up between laps. Alongside single-player racing, the game supports multiplayer for head-to-head competition on the same console, and characters differ in their stats and boards.
