Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Game Boy Advance is a side-scrolling action game based on the animated series, with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo as playable characters. Each turtle uses his own weapon and has slightly different reach and speed, and you pick who to take into a stage. Play moves left to right through city streets, rooftops, sewers and other locations from the show, fighting Foot Soldiers and other enemies with combos, jumping attacks and throws before facing bosses at the end of stages. Health pickups and collectibles are scattered through the levels. The graphics use sprite work modelled on the cartoon's character designs, and short story sequences link the stages together. Controls are kept simple, with attack and jump buttons driving most of the combat.
