Vigilante 8 brings the vehicular combat series to Game Boy Color. You pick a driver and vehicle and fight in enclosed arenas, driving to collect weapon pickups and repair items while trying to destroy rival cars and trucks. The setting keeps the series' 1970s American highway theme, with muscle cars, pickups and other period vehicles trading missiles, mines and machine gun fire. Because it is a handheld conversion, the presentation is scaled down from the console versions, but the core loop of circling an arena, grabbing ammunition and lining up shots on a moving target stays the same. Matches are won by surviving and reducing opponents to wreckage. If you know the console games, this is a compact version of the same idea built for the Game Boy Color hardware.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
