Wii Play is a collection of short minigames designed to introduce the different ways the Wii Remote can be used. Activities include a shooting gallery, table tennis played by sliding a paddle across the screen, billiards controlled by pointing and thrusting the remote, fishing, air hockey, and a puzzle mode where you pick your own Mii out of a crowd. There is also a tank battle mode played across small mazes and a race where your Mii rides a cow through an obstacle course. Most of the games support two players on the same screen, with one Wii Remote each, and use Mii characters as the on-screen avatars. Sessions are brief, and high scores are recorded for each activity.
