This Sega Saturn version of WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game converts the coin-op wrestling brawler for home play. Rather than simulating wrestling rules, it borrows from fighting games: you have a health bar, special-move commands, and combo strings, and wrestlers perform physically impossible attacks with heavy exaggeration. The competitors are drawn from mid-1990s WWF, including Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Razor Ramon, Yokozuna, Doink the Clown, Bam Bam Bigelow and Lex Luger, each with their own set of signature and outlandish moves. Play alone through a series of computer-controlled opponents or face a second player, with matches that can involve more than two wrestlers in the ring at a time. Digitized sprites of the real performers and loud arena presentation carry the arcade look across to the Saturn.
