Reshef of Destruction is a Game Boy Advance Yu-Gi-Oh game that combines card duels with light adventure elements. You move between locations on an overworld map, talk to characters from the series, and progress a story involving the threat named in the title, with duels triggered as you advance. Battles use a simplified version of the trading card game rules, and cards carry attributes and types that influence matchups. Cards are earned from opponents and bought with in-game currency, and a deck editor lets you rebuild between fights. Opponents' decks grow stronger as the story continues, so grinding duels for money and cards is part of the structure. Password entry can be used to obtain certain cards, and link cable play is supported.
