Mischief Makers is a side-scrolling action platformer for the Nintendo 64, developed by Treasure. You control Marina Liteyears, a robot caretaker searching the world of Clancer for the kidnapped Professor Theo. Instead of relying on attacks, Marina's main move is grabbing: she can seize enemies, blocks, rockets and other objects, then shake them to shake loose items or turn them into projectiles. Stages are built from 2D sprite work presented in a 3D-rendered style, and each one sets its own goal, with some levels focused on platforming, others on puzzles, vehicle sections or boss fights. Gems hidden in each stage encourage replaying levels to find everything, and boss encounters usually revolve around working out which part of the enemy can be grabbed and thrown.
