Aggressive Inline on Game Boy Advance adapts the inline skating series to the handheld. You skate through levels made up of ramps, rails, ledges and gaps, chaining grinds, air tricks and grabs into combos for points. As in the console game, the emphasis is on keeping momentum and staying active rather than stopping between attempts, and levels give you objectives and challenges to complete instead of only a raw score to beat. Completing them opens up further progress and improves what your skater can do. The GBA version scales the environments down to suit the smaller screen and simpler control scheme, with a trick set mapped to the handheld's buttons and directional inputs. The focus stays on learning each level's layout and finding lines that let you link tricks together without touching down.
