Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure on Game Boy Advance is a handheld version of the Disney-themed skateboarding game. You skate as characters taken from Disney and Pixar films, working through stages themed on those movies. The core loop is score-based: you perform ollies, grinds, grabs and flip tricks, linking them together into combos for higher point totals, and work through lists of level objectives such as hitting score targets, collecting items and pulling off particular tricks in particular spots. Meeting goals opens up later levels and additional skaters. The handheld release scales the format down to fit the hardware, with simpler level layouts and a control scheme built around the GBA's buttons. It is pitched at younger players, with straightforward objectives and generous trick timing.
