A handheld version of the Super Nintendo platformer, with Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong setting out across Crocodile Isle to rescue Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool and his Kremling crew. You control one Kong at a time and swap between them on the fly, using Diddy's speed or Dixie's spinning ponytail glide to reach otherwise awkward platforms. Either Kong can pick up and throw the other, which is required for many jumps and for hitting distant enemies. Levels span pirate ships, swamps, brambles, honey-covered hives and lava caverns, and animal buddies take over for stretches of swimming, bouncing and web-spinning. Collecting bananas, balloons and hidden coins opens bonus areas and extra stages beyond the main path. This release adds extra content alongside the ported adventure.
