The handheld conversion of the third Super Nintendo Donkey Kong Country game. Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong explore the Northern Kremisphere in search of Donkey Kong and Diddy, working through forests, factories, waterfalls and snowy peaks. As in the earlier games, you control one Kong at a time and swap between them: Dixie can float with her ponytail, while the larger Kiddy can smash through certain surfaces and skip across water. Throwing your partner is used to solve platforming problems and defeat enemies. Between stages you travel the overworld by boat, visiting characters who trade items and offer side objectives, and hidden bonus rooms and collectibles unlock additional content. Animal buddies appear in dedicated levels. This version includes extra modes on top of the main quest.
