A Dragon Ball Z fighting game for Game Boy Advance built around aerial combat. Fighters move freely through the air as well as along the ground, so matches involve rushing in, breaking away, and trading ki blasts and beam attacks across the screen. Controls combine light and heavy melee strikes with special moves and super attacks fuelled by a ki gauge, and some characters can transform mid-fight to change their stats and move list. Single-player story modes are told through still-image and text scenes, with routes and endings that vary by the character you pick, and there are versus options for battles against the computer or a second player via link cable. Sprite artwork and portraits follow the anime's designs.
