Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time is an action game for Game Boy Advance based on the Cartoon Network series. You control Jack, the displaced samurai fighting the demon Aku, moving through side-scrolling stages against waves of robotic and supernatural enemies. Play revolves around Jack's sword, with ground and aerial slashes, blocking and dodging, plus jumping and climbing between platforms and hazards. Additional items and techniques expand your options as you advance, and stages close with tougher enemy encounters. The visuals use sprite art styled after the show's angular character designs and flat color backgrounds, and the story is framed by the series premise of Jack seeking a way back to his own time. Stages are tackled in sequence as the plot moves forward.
