A handheld take on the Splinter Cell stealth series, rebuilt for the Game Boy Advance as a 2D game. You control Sam Fisher across side-viewed levels made of corridors, vents, ledges and guarded rooms, using shadows and cover to slip past patrols instead of shooting your way through. Familiar tools appear in simplified form, including night vision, silenced gunfire, lockpicking and grabbing guards from behind, and you can climb, hang from pipes and drop onto enemies from above. Light levels and guard sightlines determine whether you are spotted, and being seen usually brings reinforcements or mission failure. Objectives involve reaching computers, retrieving data and clearing areas without raising an alarm. Saving is handled on-cartridge, and the game runs on Game Boy Advance and later Nintendo DS models with a GBA slot.
