Street Fighter Alpha 3 on Game Boy Advance is a handheld conversion of Capcom's 2D fighting game. You pick a fighter and an -ism, the game's fighting styles, which change how your super meter works and which techniques you have access to: one style favours a single stocked super, another lets you spend meter on multiple super combos, and another centres on Custom Combos. Matches play out in best-of-three rounds over side-view stages, using the handheld's buttons and shoulder triggers to cover punches and kicks. Alongside arcade play against the CPU, the game includes a World Tour-style single-player mode in which you fight a series of opponents under special conditions and build up your character, plus versus play with a link cable. The roster covers Alpha regulars and Street Fighter II veterans.
