Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on Game Boy Advance brings the skateboarding series to Nintendo's 32-bit handheld with a viewpoint that renders the parks in perspective rather than the flat 2D of earlier portable versions. You select a professional skater and take on timed runs through skate park and street courses, chaining grinds, flip tricks, grabs and manuals to keep combos alive and push scores higher. Career mode sets objectives for each level, including score targets and collecting the letters S-K-A-T-E, and clearing them unlocks additional stages. Earnings from completed goals can be spent raising your skater's stats. The button layout maps grinds, grabs and ollies to the face and shoulder buttons, and completed runs are logged as high scores for later attempts.
