Tringo is a puzzle game for Game Boy Advance that mixes falling-block placement with bingo-style scoring. You are dealt shapes made of squares and must place each one onto a grid, fitting pieces together without overlapping. Completing full rows, columns or filled blocks of the grid earns points, and the tighter and more efficient your packing, the higher the payoff. Unlike most block puzzlers there is no time pressure from descending pieces; instead the challenge comes from a limited number of placements and the risk of leaving awkward gaps you cannot fill later. The game originated as a title created within the online world Second Life before being adapted for handheld play. Rounds are short, making it suited to brief sessions and score chasing.
