WWE Survivor Series brings World Wrestling Entertainment action to the Game Boy Advance. You control WWE superstars in one-on-one and multi-wrestler matches, working through grapples, strikes and signature moves to wear an opponent down before going for a pin or submission. Matches are built around a momentum system, so landing offense and avoiding damage determines when you can attempt your bigger finishing attacks. Alongside quick exhibition bouts, the game includes a story-driven single-player mode that moves you through a series of matches and rivalries, plus a selection of match types drawn from WWE television. The handheld presentation uses a behind-the-wrestler viewpoint rather than the flat side-on style of earlier portable wrestling games. Support for head-to-head play is included so two players can face off directly.
