Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation is a GameCube wrestling game based on the Ultimate Muscle anime and manga, in which superhero-styled wrestlers fight in the ring. You take control of characters from the series, including Kid Muscle, and battle in 3D arenas using grapples, throws, strikes and over-the-top signature attacks drawn from the source material. Matches are fast and cartoonish rather than simulation-minded, with exaggerated animation and characters designed around gimmicks and comedy. The game supports single-player play against computer opponents as well as local multiplayer matches, and characters can be unlocked as you progress. Fans of the show will recognise the roster and its visual style; players coming to it cold will find a light arena wrestling game with simple controls and short bouts.
