Wave Race Blue Storm continues the jet ski racing series on the Nintendo GameCube. You race personal watercraft across ocean, harbor and lagoon courses, passing buoys on the correct side while managing throttle and body lean to hold your line through turns. The water is simulated with rolling swells and the wake left by rival riders, so conditions shift as a race unfolds and repeated laps rarely feel identical. Weather and sea state can change the difficulty of a course considerably. Riders differ in speed, handling and acceleration, and craft can be tuned to suit your preferences. Modes include championship racing, time trials and a stunt mode where you score points for tricks launched off ramps and waves. Riders offer spoken commentary and coaching as you race.
