PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond is an action-adventure game for Wii built around exploring Pokemon-themed areas. You begin as Pikachu and gain the ability to switch between several playable Pokemon, each with its own moves for attacking, dashing and reaching places the others cannot. Progress comes from befriending the Pokemon you meet, which usually means beating them in a challenge such as a chase, a battle or a timed obstacle course. Between these events you roam open zones, talk to residents and unlock new regions as the story advances. Controls use the Wii Remote for movement and simple attack and dash inputs, and some mini-games support additional players. The presentation is bright and aimed at younger players, with short objectives and frequent rewards rather than long dungeons or complex menus.
