A Wii action game in which you control Pikachu exploring a large park divided into themed zones. Rather than traditional Pokemon battles, you befriend the Pokemon living in each area by taking part in activities: chasing them down, sparring in simple attack-based fights, or completing obstacle courses and other timed challenges. Friendly Pokemon can then join you in the park's attractions, which are minigames such as races, rides and target-based contests, with scores and records to improve on. Movement and attacks are handled with the Wii Remote, including motion inputs for some actions. The story sends you between zones to solve problems for the Pokemon you meet, and progress opens up new areas and playable characters for the attractions.
