An action role-playing game for the Wii and part of the Spectrobes series. You play as a member of an interplanetary patrol, travelling between planets and searching the ground for fossils buried in rock. Excavated fossils are cleaned and then awakened into creatures called Spectrobes, which you raise by feeding them minerals and evolving them into stronger forms. Exploration takes place on foot in 3D environments, and combat is handled in real time, with your Spectrobes fighting alongside you against alien enemies. Different Spectrobes have their own types and attacks, so choosing which pair to bring into a fight matters. Minerals and fossils found while exploring feed back into strengthening your team. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk are used for movement, digging and combat commands. The story is delivered through cutscenes and dialogue between missions.
