Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is the Wii entry in the series. You hold the Wii Remote sideways and tilt it to angle the stage, rolling a monkey in a transparent ball toward a goal before the timer expires. A dedicated jump button is included in this game, and stage design incorporates it into gaps, springs and vertical routes. The main mode is organised into themed worlds, each capped by a boss encounter that changes the usual goal-reaching objective. Bananas are collected throughout for points and extra lives. A large set of multiplayer party games built around Wii Remote motion controls is included, covering short competitive events for several players. Playable monkeys from the series return.
