Wii Sports Resort is a collection of sports and outdoor activities set on Wuhu Island, played with the Wii Remote Plus or a Wii Remote with the MotionPlus accessory attached. The added sensing tracks the angle and twist of the controller, so the game can read the tilt of a sword, the face of a racket or the spin put on a thrown disc. Activities include swordplay duels, archery, table tennis, basketball, bowling, golf, canoeing, cycling, wakeboarding, jet ski racing, and flying a small plane around the island. Mii characters serve as the players and opponents. Many events support two or more players locally, and each activity records stamps and skill levels that track your progress as you keep playing.
