A side-scrolling action platformer for the Super Nintendo that runs through the events of the Indiana Jones film trilogy. Levels retrace familiar sequences, including temple interiors, mine carts, rope bridges and vehicle chases, with Indy using his whip to attack, swing from hooks and grab distant objects, along with a pistol and thrown items when ammunition allows. Some stages break from standard platforming for scripted set pieces such as riding a mine cart or clinging to a moving vehicle. Enemies range from guards and cultists to snakes, rats and other wildlife, and health is limited, so timing whip strikes and jumps carefully matters. Digitised film artwork and orchestral arrangements of the series' music tie the stages together between missions.
