Tetris & Dr. Mario is a Super Nintendo compilation of two Nintendo puzzle games on one cartridge. Tetris is the falling-block game in which you rotate tetrominoes to complete and clear horizontal lines before the stack reaches the top. Dr. Mario has you dropping two-tone capsules into a bottle to line up four or more matching colours with the viruses inside, clearing the bottle to finish each level. Both games can be played solo or as two-player competitive matches on a split screen. The cartridge also includes a Mixed Match option, which strings the two games together into a single sequence you play in turn. Difficulty, starting level and speed settings can be adjusted, and the SNES versions use colour graphics and rearranged music for both games.
