A 3D beat 'em up brought to Xbox from Sega's arcade original. You move through city streets and interiors fighting large groups of enemies using punches, kicks, throws and charged attacks, with the ability to slam opponents into walls, railings and scenery for extra damage. Levels branch in places, so different routes lead through different areas and encounters. Health carries between stages, which puts weight on avoiding damage rather than trading blows. Multiple playable fighters have their own move sets and body types, and the game supports cooperative play so several players can clear the same streets together. Presentation is arcade-styled, with on-screen combo counters, timed stage progression and continue prompts, and boss fights that close out sections.
