Outlaw Golf: Holiday Golf is an arcade golf game for the original Xbox built around a winter and holiday theme. You choose from a roster of exaggerated, attitude-heavy golfers and play through courses using a swing system based on timing and analog stick control, with wind, lie and terrain affecting each shot. As in the rest of the Outlaw Golf line, your golfer has a composure meter that drops after bad shots and can be restored by taking it out on your caddy in a short beat-down sequence. Commentary and trash talk run throughout the round. Modes cover standard stroke play along with alternative match types, and multiple players can pass the controller for local competition. The presentation leans on crude humour rather than simulation-style realism.
