Tiger-Heli is a vertically scrolling shooter for the Nintendo Entertainment System, adapted from the arcade original. You pilot an attack helicopter over land and water, destroying tanks, gun emplacements, boats and enemy aircraft while dodging incoming fire. Your helicopter carries a forward-firing gun and a limited supply of bombs that clear a large area of the screen, useful when the battlefield becomes crowded. Power-ups add smaller support helicopters that attach to your sides, increasing firepower and absorbing some damage until they are shot away. Levels scroll continuously over military bases and terrain, with heavier fortifications and denser enemy waves appearing as you progress. Play is straightforward and score-driven, in the style of early 1980s arcade shooters, with a single life lost to any hit.
