Werewolf: The Last Warrior is a side-scrolling action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. You play as a man who can transform into a werewolf by collecting a power-up marked with a W, switching between a weaker human form that punches and a clawed beast form with stronger attacks, longer reach and the ability to climb walls and cling to surfaces. Taking damage or collecting a red version of the item can send you into a berserk state or drop you back to human form. Stages move through outdoor and industrial environments filled with mutated enemies and hazards, with boss encounters at the end of areas. Progress depends on managing your transformation state while fighting and navigating platforming sections that require the werewolf's climbing ability.
