Wrecking Crew is a single-screen action puzzle game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. You control Mario, armed with a hammer, working through construction sites made of ladders, walls and platforms. The goal on each screen is to smash every designated wall, pillar and ladder, but the order you choose matters: knock out the wrong piece and you can strand yourself on a level you cannot reach or leave objects out of range. Enemies patrol the site and contact with them costs you a life, so timing your movement between floors is part of the challenge. Bonus items and hidden objects appear in some stages. A two-player alternating mode is included, along with a design mode that lets you build your own layouts using the game's pieces.
