Battle Unit Zeoth is a side-scrolling shooter for the original Game Boy in which you pilot an armed mech through waves of enemy machines. Movement is free across the screen rather than fixed to the ground, so you dodge incoming fire while shooting forward at oncoming attackers and installations. Stages scroll steadily and close with larger enemy encounters, and power-ups picked up along the way change or strengthen your weaponry. Everything is rendered in the Game Boy's four-shade green palette, with chunky mech sprites set against scrolling backdrops. It is a short, arcade-style game built around learning enemy patterns and surviving with limited resources, designed for handheld sessions on the original hardware and playable on later Game Boy models.
