Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters is the Sega CD version of Konami's Western-themed shooter. Playing as a lawman, you work through frontier settings, firing at outlaws while trying not to hit the civilians who appear among them. Weapon pickups let you trade your revolver for stronger period firearms for a limited time. As in the earlier game, this is a stationary shooter using digitized photographic sprites: the view advances automatically while you aim a crosshair, reload, and pick out valid targets, with penalties for shooting innocents. The CD format allows for streamed audio during play. It supports Konami's Justifier light gun, with a second gun enabling two players to shoot at the screen simultaneously, and can also be played with a control pad.
