Night Trap is a full-motion video game presented through the security camera system of a house. Live-action video plays in real time as guests stay at the house and intruders make their way through the rooms. You flip between camera feeds to track what is happening and trigger concealed traps at the correct instant to catch the intruders, while listening for a changing access code that determines when the traps are active. Missing a trap lets a threat move on, and losing too many of the visitors ends the run. Events play out on a fixed timeline whether or not you are watching the right room, so learning the schedule and the house layout across multiple attempts is how you progress. This is the Sega CD release, with the video streamed from disc.
