Sega Master System Games
The Master System is Sega's 8-bit console, and while it never matched the NES in North America it was hugely popular in Europe, Brazil and Australia. Its library is built on arcade conversions, colourful platformers and early Sega franchises that would later grow into household names. Cartridges are small and simple, and the hardware is straightforward to set up on older televisions. Titles listed here include Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Phantasy Star, Wonder Boy III the Dragon's Trap, Golden Axe and Shinobi, plus Castle of Illusion, Fantasy Zone and R-Type.
