An extreme sports racing game in which you compete down long downhill courses on wheels and blades rather than in vehicles. You choose a rider and a discipline, then race rivals through outdoor tracks that mix jumps, ramps, shortcuts and hazards, with pedestrians and scenery to avoid along the way. Competitors can shove and strike each other while jockeying for position, and finishing well in events unlocks further courses and characters. Riders have differing statistics, so handling and speed change with your selection. Courses run point to point rather than in laps, with checkpoints and time pressure pushing you forward. Presentation is built around a 3D track that scrolls toward you, a licensed-feeling soundtrack of guitar-driven music, and split-screen play so a second player can race alongside you.
