Aedis Eclipse: Generation of Chaos is a strategy role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable and part of the wider Generation of Chaos series. You command armies across a map of territories, moving groups of units toward enemy strongholds and managing the characters who lead them. Battles play out as large-scale clashes between formations of troops rather than turn-by-turn duels, with your commanders' abilities and levels influencing the outcome. Between engagements you build up your holdings, recruit and develop leaders, and decide where to push next as opposing forces move against you. The presentation mixes overhead map screens with character portraits and story sequences. Expect a slower, management-heavy pace closer to a war strategy game than a traditional party-based RPG.
