Air Conflicts is an aerial combat game for the PlayStation Portable, set during the Second World War. You fly propeller-driven fighters and bombers of the period through mission-based campaigns, engaging enemy aircraft in dogfights and attacking ground and sea targets. Handling leans toward accessible arcade flying rather than strict simulation, with straightforward controls for throttle, manoeuvring, machine guns and bombs. Missions send you over varied terrain and include objectives such as escorting friendly units, intercepting enemy formations and bombing installations, with in-flight briefings and objective markers guiding you. Views can be switched between an external chase camera and a closer cockpit-style perspective. The handheld format keeps individual sorties relatively short, making it suited to playing a mission at a time.
