Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is an action game for the PlayStation Portable tied to the film of the same name. You play as a Predator hunting xenomorphs, fighting through levels using melee combat and the Predator's signature equipment. Combat is built around combos, grabs and finishing moves against alien enemies, with vision modes and gadgets available as you progress. Stages move through the film's settings, mixing enclosed interiors with outdoor areas, and mission objectives direct you from one confrontation to the next. Health and equipment pickups support you between fights, and larger enemies appear as set-piece encounters. Presentation uses cutscenes and mission briefings to link the levels to the film's story. Controls are mapped to the PSP's d-pad, analogue nub and shoulder buttons for a single-player campaign.
