Animorphs: Shattered Reality is an action game for the PlayStation based on the young adult book series. You play as the Animorphs, teenagers who can transform into animals, and the ability to morph is central to how you move and fight. Switching between human and animal forms changes your speed, size and attacks, so levels are built around choosing the right creature for the obstacle or enemy in front of you. Stages take place across a mix of environments as you work through objectives and confront the alien Yeerks. The presentation uses polygonal 3D characters and environments typical of the console, and the story draws on the series' premise of a secret war fought by a small group of kids. Controls cover movement, combat and morph selection during play.
