Antz Extreme Racing is a racing game for the PlayStation 2 using characters from the Antz film. You pick a racer from the film's cast and compete on courses built around the scale of insects, so ordinary objects and terrain become oversized track features and obstacles. Races follow the arcade kart format rather than simulation, with power-ups and items to pick up and use against rivals, boosts, and shortcuts to find on the circuits. Modes cover single races and championship-style progression against computer opponents, along with split-screen play for a second player.
