A mech action game for the PlayStation 2. You work as a Raven, accepting contracts from competing factions in an underground world governed by a controlling system, and between jobs you rebuild your Armored Core in the garage from individual parts that each affect weight, energy use and firepower. Missions are short, self-contained assignments against mechs, vehicles and fixed defences, with ammunition and repair costs taken out of your reward. Combat is fast, using boosters, jumping and lock-on weapons while watching an energy gauge that drains as you fly. This entry introduces optional parts that let you tune performance further, and an arena provides ranked one-on-one duels for money and practice against varied opposing builds.
