Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is a PSP action game starring Altaïr, continuing his story after the events of the first Assassin's Creed. The setting is Cyprus, where the Templar presence remains after the Holy Land campaign, and you move between fortified towns and strongholds pursuing targets. Play keeps the series' core elements at handheld scale: climbing walls and towers, blending into crowds, using rooftops to travel, and killing enemies through stealth or direct swordplay. Altaïr's tools include the hidden blade, sword and throwing knives, and combat relies on counters and timed strikes. Missions involve tailing and assassinating specific figures, with side objectives scattered around the map. Cutscenes and conversations carry the narrative between assignments. The game is built for the PSP's controls and can also be played on PlayStation Portable models via the UMD drive.
