Astonishia Story is a turn-based role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable, originally a Korean PC title brought to Sony's handheld. You follow a young knight tasked with escorting an important relic, a journey that pulls him into a larger conflict as the story unfolds through town visits, dialogue and dungeon exploration. Battles are fought on grids, where you move each party member into position and choose attacks, magic or items, so placement and turn order matter as much as raw statistics. Between fights you equip gear, manage your party and follow the plot from one region to the next. The presentation uses 2D sprite characters and hand-drawn portraits, and the pacing is that of a traditional console RPG rather than an action game.
