A 3D beat 'em up for PlayStation 2 set in the world of the Batman animated series, with character designs and voice work carried over from the show. The villain Sin Tzu comes to Gotham and turns other criminals loose on the city, and you fight through districts and interiors clearing rooms of enemies. Combat is built around punch and kick strings, grabs, throws, counters and gadgets, with combo meters that reward stringing attacks together without being hit. You can play as Batman or as allies from the Bat-family, each with their own moveset, and a second player can join in for cooperative play. Between fights there are animated cutscenes advancing the story, and clearing stages unlocks extra abilities for later chapters.
