A 3D fighting game built around genetically engineered combatants who battle in enclosed arenas. Fighters can lift off the ground and hover, so bouts mix conventional punches, kicks and special moves with vertical repositioning and use of the surrounding walls. Damage can tear parts away from an opponent's body as a round wears on, and each member of the cast differs in reach, weaponry and abilities. You fight one-on-one matches against computer opponents or a second player, using directional inputs combined with attack buttons in the usual fighting-game manner. Presentation is fully polygonal, with a dark industrial look for both characters and stages. The hovering mechanic is the main departure from standard ground-based fighters, letting you break out of a corner or press an attack from above.
