Bloody Roar 3 is a 3D one-on-one fighting game built around characters who can change into animal forms. Matches take place in enclosed arenas where you chain punches, kicks and throws, and a meter lets you transform into a beast shape with different moves, increased power and the ability to regain health. Staying in beast form depends on that meter, and heavy damage can knock you back to human shape, making the timing of transformations part of each fight. The cast of zoanthropes includes animal types such as wolf, tiger and mole, each with distinct combos and special attacks. Single-player options include an arcade ladder and survival-style challenges, with two-player versus matches and training also available.
