Bob the Builder: Can We Fix It? is a children's game for the PlayStation 1 based on the animated television series. You take on building and repair jobs around the show's world, driving the familiar machines from the programme to complete each task. Play is split between getting from place to place in a vehicle and carrying out simple hands-on jobs at the site, such as moving materials, clearing obstacles and fixing what needs fixing. The pace is gentle and the objectives are clearly signposted, with voice prompts and friendly presentation aimed at very young players rather than at skill-based challenge. Characters and settings are drawn from the series, and the visual style follows the look of the show.
